General Terms and Conditions

◊ Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions exclusively apply to business relations with Raute Verlag (Währinger Straße 49/10, A-1090 Vienna). We only recognize deviations if we have previously agreed to them in writing with you.

◊ Conclusion of Contract
Your order constitutes an offer to conclude a purchase agreement with us. The presentation of our products on www.raute.cc is not yet an offer in the legal sense. Once you have placed an order, you will receive an email confirming the receipt of your order. The acceptance of the offer only occurs when we dispatch your order.

◊ Right of Withdrawal
You are not bound to your order and can cancel it without giving reasons within two weeks after receiving the goods. In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send a clear written statement regarding your decision to withdraw from the contract to Raute Verlag (email, letter). However, the withdrawal is not bound to a specific form. The withdrawal letter must include the following information:

Declaration of withdrawal from the purchase contract
Customer identification (name)
Date of the withdrawal letter
Customer’s signature

In the event of a withdrawal, we will refund the purchase price already paid. The return of the goods must be made promptly and be paid for by you, provided that the goods correspond to the order. If the goods have already been used and show signs of wear, we reserve the right to calculate a depreciation.

◊ Prices, Delivery, and Shipping Costs
The prices stated on the website are consumer prices including value-added tax (currently 10%) and are generally charged in EURO. Under certain circumstances, it may be possible to make payments in US dollars, British pounds, or Hungarian forints.
We will inform the consumer of any additional freight, delivery, shipping, or other costs before submitting the offer, to the extent that these costs can reasonably be calculated in advance. If these costs cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we will notify the customer in advance of the possible incurrence of such additional costs, such as any special provisions for deliveries that do not originate from us.
The goods will be shipped after receipt of payment. Delivery is subject to the availability of the goods.
We ship with Österreichische Post AG and Deutsche Post AG.

◊ Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our claims must be paid in full and without deduction before the ordered products are handed over. Payment of the purchase price via our website is possible using the following payment methods:

◊ Jurisdiction
The contracting parties agree to Austrian domestic jurisdiction. If it is not a consumer transaction, the locally competent court at the seat of the entrepreneur shall have exclusive jurisdiction to decide on all disputes arising from this contract.

◊ Choice of law
The substantive law of the Republic of Austria shall apply exclusively, excluding the referral norms and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. With regard to consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that obligatory provisions of the law of the state in which the consumer has his habitual residence are not displaced.

◊ Partial Invalidity
If individual provisions of these terms and conditions are wholly or partially invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions and contracts concluded on their basis. The wholly or partially invalid provision shall be replaced exclusively in contracts with entrepreneurs by a provision which comes closest to the meaning and purpose of the invalid provision.
