◊ Collection and Use of Personal Data
Data Collection when Visiting our Website:
On the one hand, we only collect the data that you provide to us as information, as well as the data that is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure the security and stability of our website. The legal basis for this is regulated by Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
◊ Use of Cookies
In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website, whereby only cookies that are strictly necessary are set. We only use essential cookies. These cookies are necessary to ensure basic functions of the website. For example, these cookies are needed if a user adds a product to the shopping cart, then continues browsing on other pages, and only proceeds to checkout later. These cookies do not delete the shopping cart, even if the user closes their browser window. If you contact us by email or via a contact form, we will store the data you voluntarily provide (e.g. name, email address, address, and telephone number) in order to respond to your request. Mandatory fields in our contact or order forms are marked as such. We require the data provided in these fields to process your request or to carry out pre-contractual measures and fulfill the contract. Otherwise, we will not be able to respond to your request or complete your order/request. We will delete the data you provide in this context once storage is no longer necessary or restrict its processing if there are statutory retention obligations. After the expiration of any statutory retention obligations, your data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to further use or there is no longer a legal basis for further processing of your data.
◊ Newsletters
You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this, we require your email address and your declaration of consent to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected. The data processing is based on the legal provisions of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f (legitimate interest) GDPR. This data will only be used to send the newsletter and will not be disclosed to third parties. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. We will immediately delete your data associated with the newsletter. You will receive a confirmation email for unsubscribing.
◊ Performance of Contract
In the course of order processing and contract fulfillment, we will share your data with service providers commissioned by us, particularly shipping companies and banks, if necessary for the delivery and payment of the ordered service. For payment processing, we will share the collected payment data with commissioned credit institutions and, if necessary, with commissioned payment service providers. If you have given your explicit consent, commissioned shipping companies will receive, among other things, your email address and telephone number from us, so they can contact you for delivery notification or coordination purposes. Furthermore, we will share your data with our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations. You can revoke any consent given by you at any time, either in full or in part, using the contact details provided above. In case of revocation, we will delete the data provided by you for this purpose, unless they are required for other purposes or you have expressly consented to further use of your data. Furthermore, your data will be deleted if there is no legal basis for further processing your data.
◊ Additionally, we process your personal data in special cases based on our or legitimate third parties’ legitimate interests in pursuing legal action or upon the order of authorities or courts legally empowered to do so.
◊ We store data to ensure the security of our website for a period of 3 to 12 months, depending on the service. Extended storage only takes place if it is necessary to investigate identified attacks on our website or to pursue legal claims.
◊ SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content – such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the website operator – this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser toolbar. When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
◊ Rights
You have the right to request information about your personal data, as well as the right to have your data rectified or erased, or to restrict its processing. Likewise, you can object to the processing of your data and have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format. For all the aforementioned rights, please contact the details of the data controller.
